Symptoms of a bad timer:

• The timer does not advance cycles.
• The dryer will not heat.

To install: Remove the six control panel screws and pull off the knob. Avoid removing wires yet; transfer them one by one to the new timer to prevent cross-wiring. Remove the two 1/4 inch hex screws securing the timer, allowing enough slack to transfer wires. After all of the wires are transferred, reinstall the hex screws, knob, and back panel. Test the unit.
