Refrigerator evaporator fan motor, uses DC voltage. This fan motor is located in the freezer compartment. Does NOT include thermistor (Part number WR60X10074 includes the thermistor)

This Replacement Part is an Evaporator Fan Motor made for GE refrigerators. It is designed for appliances that do not have a thermistor wired into the connecting harness. The motor operates 9.75 volts DC. It powers an evaporator fan that draws air from the refrigerator. The fan then circulates it over the evaporator coils for efficient cooling. The motor has a 1/8" shaft and a 12" long, 4-wire harness. It's located at the back of the freezer section, behind the auger motor assembly, and attached to the back wall.

Despite its long life cycle, the motor can burn out if a fan blade is obstructed. This affects proper cooling and compressor performance. In case of freezer issues, check for fan blade obstructions or test the motor for resistance using a multimeter. If found faulty, the motor should be replaced.

This part fixes the following symptoms

    • Noisy
    • Fridge too warm
    • Freezer section too warm
