The Dryer Motor is an Replacement Part compatible with Whirlpool dryers.  This motor, with a blower shaft length of 1-5/8 inches and a drive shaft length of 1-1/4 inches, drives the rotation of the dryer's drum. This is vital for effective drying. If defective, the dryer won't spin. It's specially designed for large-capacity Whirlpool-built dryers with a front lint screen.

Please note, while the original motor has two terminals on the overload protector switch, this replacement has only one. An included wire kit helps adapt the wiring to the one terminal overload.
