- Part Number 241577505 (AP4393275) replaces 1512577, 7241577505, AH2361242, EA2361242, PS2361242.
- This is a Frigidaire compressor inverter control board for refrigerators.
- It manages cooling in the refrigerator by controlling the compressor. If a refrigerator is not staying cool because the compressor isn't running, check the control board for the compressor first as it may have shorted out.
- Disconnect the refrigerator from both power and water before installing this part. It might be a good idea to move food to temporary cool storage, as well. This job requires a quarter inch nut driver, quarter inch socket wrench, flat wrench, and Phillips and flat head screwdrivers.
- Also have a towel handy to catch any water that may leak out when completing this job.On the appliance, this part is installed on the side of the compressor.
- To access it, remove the bottom panel on the back of the refrigerator. Other components, such as the water inlet line, must be removed, as well.
- The control board is held in place by a single Phillips screw.
- Once the screw is removed, unplug the wire harnesses connected to the control board, and then detatch the plug connecting the control board to the compressor, and finally the ground wire.
- Be mindful of surrounding tubes and wires when carefully removing the old control board.
- Install the new board by repeating these steps in reverse.
